MOON HALO

Most sky phenomenon are hard to find, and do not occur regularly. I have only seen
a large (22') moon halo twice, the same with the moondogs. Moon halos occur the same as
the sun halo, needing a thin cirrostratus cloud cover, but also needing at least a waxing
or waning gibbous phase or brighter.
