SOLAR RAYS

Solar rays are the hardest to spot and photograph. They appear as pinkish-orange rays streaming out from the sunset
against the evening twilight. They shift across the sky as the sun descends below the horizon.
They are caused from the sunlight shining thru clouds low on the horizon. If you look real hard, the rays extend across
the sky, and converge on a point opposite the sunset (the anti-solar point).

A pair of glasses with polarized lenses is required, not only to protect the eyes, but most of these sky phenomenon can't be detected without them!

Solar rays are like looking around and realizing someone (or something) has been stareing at you...!!

Solar rays seem to be more obvious this year, or I am more 'tuned' to them...!

Solar rays are still the hardest to spot and photograph! I happened upon these remarkable solar rays, matter-of-fact,
it was a single broad ray in the east which caught my eye. I shot between the east and the west, back and forth, trying
to get something worthy of keeping. Here is the best of the lot!
