Sunset. The last dramatic event of the day. The days' colors, the clouds,
the thunder showers, the rainbows. The sky is alive and marks the time, but it all

merge with an endless horizon. There are many ways the sun could set, but each one

Not Harsens Island, but the sunset looks just as spectacular in these waters! I took
this photo at Anchor Bay, a smaller part of Lake St. Clair. The swan was looking for

the sun. That's where I shot him in this photo, crossing the glitterpath
My wife, myself and some of my family took a walk after thanksgiving dinner at my Moms.
The air was quite cold, but we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a moon rise.

I almost always have my camera with me where ever I go, including work. On November 22nd,
2004, I saw the makings for a great sunset and a sun pillar. I sat on a dirt road
watching the sun slowly slide out from below the cloud it was in.
Sun setting on the beautiful Muskamoot bay! While on Harsens Island August 21, 2004, My
wife and I witnessed this setting.
These photos are from my new Nikon Coolpix 8700. Awesome capabilities.

Memories are made in a moment. While vacationing at the tip of Michigans' thumb, my wife and
I found this shoreline location from which to shot the sunset. The water has been low in the
great lakes, to which the receeding shoreline gives testimony.
