Twilight wedge. The blueish shadow of the giant! One of the hardest things to imagine is the size of the earth. If you 
could comprehend the immenseness of the sky, the earth becomes a giant beneath your feet! 
  The twilight wedge is the shadow of the earth caused from the sun setting on the opposite horizon. The beautiful pink 
band which separates the dark blue shadow from the light blue evening sky, is the Belt of Venus. By the way, this also 
occurs in the west as the sun is rising in the east!
